First i applied online. The next day I got and email to do an online competency based question test. A few days later I was called and told i was successful and told to book my interview online. I booked the interview online. I was interviewed and asked various questions about my education, weaknesses, strengths, why i want to work for boots, what i like about boots, how i would deal with a difficult customer etc. Towards the end of the interview i was asked to go to the shop floor and was taken to an untidy aisle and i was asked how i would make it better. I was then asked how i would sell the product of the week. I was not asked to interact with customers. However, during my discussion of how i would sell the product of the week i was interrupted by a customer who asked me for help with shampoo for blondes. I showed her the shampoo that i use and gave her description of why i use the same shampoo and why she should use that one too. After this they brought me back to the office and asked if i had any questions. I asked a few and then thanked them and they told me they would be in contact soon. The next day i was called and offered the job.
