The interview was rather quick and efficient. I liked that very much. These people mean business. After some questions I knew we had a strong match, and I could reflect by their questions about my notice period. However, although this is a fast growing startup, I was very surprised by their inability to communicate clearly, HR is really useless, and offer negotiations threaten them somehow. The offer part of the application process was very amateurish. They expect you to sign it without even considering other aspects, which won't happen if you're skilled and experienced enough. At the end of the journey it felts like only one person makes the hire/no-hire decision, which is a very bad idea and will highly depends on the mood or the feeling of that one particular person. Such a disappointment for such a great startup. This doesn't mean things cannot get better in the future. I'm sure they are still learning and they will be able to adapt quickly.
