Applied direct via their website, was contacted promptly and informed there were a lot of candidates for the role, as such to expect a response only for invite to a first interview within 2 weeks. Ultimately received the call and the interview process was a s follows:
1) Initial screening call via Skype, Very friendly guy named Tomas, described the company, culture, goals and expectations for the role very well. We then did an hour long dive in to my CV, experience, expectations and such like.
2) Invited for an onsite at Bynder in Barcelona. Was arranged and scheduled quickly. Onsite interview with another Product owner at the company, we did a very deep dive in to experiences and expectations etc. Covered subjects more related to my role, and I definitely got the feeling this is a company who know what they are about. I left feeling positive and had a great experience. Again, super friendly, semi casual approach.
3) Invited for a Skype call with the CTO and CPO. Hour long video call with my future stake holders. Again, a deep dive in to my experience, and then more of a discussion about the challenges the company currently faces and where my role would fit in to that. Very professional, friendly but absolutely not the typical ´formal´vibe for such an interview. Felt comfortable and welcome at all times, even when some really tough questions came my way.
4) Onsite at Barcelona to meet my future colleagues. A semi casual interview with QA and Automation lead and the Lead Android dev at Bynder. Again, more of a conversation about challenges and workflows. Very welcoming, a good experience.
After these steps I was made an offer I was only too happy to accept.
