Had a screening call with HR. Really nice conversation, good vibes in both sides would be put forward to the next round. Don't hear anything for four weeks despite multiple checkins from my side. When I tell them I'm no longer interested in the role due to poor comms, I get a long apology with excuses and they quickly schedule a second interview with their Chief People Officer. I indulge them and to my surprise I have a really great conversation which revitalises my interest in the role. They are excited and will schedule a third round interview for next week in person. Again, I hear nothing, I checkin multiple times but nothing. When I finally stalk the CPO on LinkedIn I to ask what is going on, I'm told they actually prefer someone else. Worst comms/interview process I've ever experienced. And that's saying a lot.
