I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Casey's (Vermillion, SD) in May 2011
Interview
Applied when the store was completely understaffed. Received an invitation to interview with the store manager. Spent about 30 minutes during the interview process. Was very easy and actually kind of awkward as the manager seemed a bit aloof. Essentially it consisted of seeing if I was a complete weirdo or not (which doesn't really stop them from being hired, but ehhh..) and then me asking questions. Was offered the job about a day or two later.

Question 1
What kind of experience do you have in food service?
On the phone. With assistant manager. Not difficult. Asked about experience. Willingness to work. Hours available. Usually interview with manager. They prefer if you are willing to be cross trained.
First to get a phone interview and then they send you a letter of acceptance and you go in and you talk to the manager then the manager again will send you a letter so you can come in and do your paperwork
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Casey's (Maryville, MO) in Nov 2015
