A manager actually replied to me few hours after I submitted my application, asking for interview interviews slots asap, emphasizing they need an immediate joiner.
I replied with a slot literally 2 days after, and also provided my salary range, with them telling me by mail they won’t meet them but hopefully it’s okay! Did the interview with 2 people (different than the one that reached out by mail).
 It was a standard interview, first questions were about myself and my experience, then i got my french tested and then got to try tasks similar to the job (translating english reports in french and outlining adverse events). Then then emphasized on the work conditions and ask me if I was okay with that (9 to 9, having to report within a short window, work from home etc...). Got told I would have an update quite quickly (like a few days after my interview). Waited a week before reaching out, feeling it was bad news. Got my hopes high by having the first manager tell me I’m shortlisted… but they still have interviews and will get back to me at the earliest…
Then received the platform website automatic alert a week later telling me the position was recently filled. Of course, I sent a thank you message anyway and got ghosted.
