I applied online. I interviewed at Cencora (Charlotte, NC) in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview process started with a phone call and then a video interview with two managers a week or so after that. Both interviews were very personal and they were both very nice. I heard back about a confirmation a few weeks later.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asking more in-depth about the resume, my positions, etc.
Spoke to the hiring manager a few times, the recruiter once, and a handful of members from the interview team. Everyone was nice and informative, but the candidate's experience could be improved. The recruiter never followed up after each touchpoint to see how the conversation went and if I had feedback. I had to drive the follow-ups to get a sense of timing, which leads me to believe they don't care about the candidate's experience and are just looking to fill the role with someone's golf buddy.
I applied through other source. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Cencora
Interview
Took place during COVID. Initial phone interview with HR. Zoom interview with hiring manager and other team members. Review of portfolio/samples. Then the EXTREMELY long wait for HR to send me everything.
That would have been all, but I got poached for another role at ABC and I went through the whole process to be turned down and then offered a new position they were creating at a lower level. The whole process took a whopping 6 MONTHS! And I regret accepting after that.
