Interview
The Cisco interview process I went through was backwards and one of the least professional I have encountered. A current Director of Recruiting from a flash sale etailer contacted me via Linkedin about an opportunity. I asked for details and the Recruiter sent me generic scum master job requirements, then, said it was for Cisco. She apparently was recruiting for her flash sale etailer at the same time was working to fill contract positions at Cisco. When I asked what were the most important items the hiring manager wanted to see in a candidate, she fell back onto her generic statements. Later, I found out that Cisco, rather than working with a select 3rd Party recruiter, uses the scattershot approach to turn up candidates. I didn't receive an offer, but, am curious why Cisco wasn't interested in a Navy Veteran who has successfully led enterprise-level within start-ups and large corporate environments.

Interview
External to Cisco recruiter contacting me. Was interviewed by Cisco employees within a week. 2 hour block of time. First was 1/1 with Agile Delivery Manager (similar to RTE), 2nd was with another ADM and a Scrum Master. 2nd interviewers did a good job of explaining more about Cisco and why they are adopting Agile. Also, did a nice job setting up the plan/expectations for the interview.

Mix of experience questions, situational questions and random personal questions thrown in. (i.e. if you could live anywhere for a year, where would you live?)
purely based on urgency of requirement........if urgently needed only 1 round otherwise 2 ..... varies project to Project even ... But once they take interview either they will take months to comeback or they would ask you to join in just few days

Interview
HR was not capable of sifting through applicants. It took me some effort to get the interview I wanted.
The interview process is mundane. The interviewer asked basic questions about Agile knowledges.
