Interview
Behavior/situational interviews. At the front line level, the interview is typically conducted by 2 supervisors in the department applied for and include 8--12 questions. Interviews last 45-60 minutes and basically consist of interviewers reading from a packet and transcribing your answers.
Supervisor interviews typically consist of the department manager (or two) and potentially a supervisor from that department - depending on the position applied for and size of the department. Supervisor interviews are typically 2-3 rounds of interviews. The first round with the department manager is followed by an interview with a Director/HR and if necessary a panel of Manager/Director/HR.
Manager interviews are much the same as supervisor but are more likely to include additional rounds and potentially an interview at either the Division and/or Corporate office which may require travel.
Director interviews nearly always result in business travel. They include interviews with the SVP of the respective department and will include HR and likely the President of the Division.
For supervisors and above, Comcast uses an internal tool to track core competencies for employees to determine their desirability or promotional potential. Employees are typically not able to review information about themselves but may be contacted by an internal recruiter if their name shows up.
