I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Courtyard in Jan 2022
Interview
I was tricked into a housekeeper position. Someone at Marriott described the position as interior design, when I got there, it was actually housekeeping.
My day lasted only 1h 45min before I realized that I don't like to huff harsh chemicals in a non ventilated tiny bathroom space. Seedy company.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Courtyard (San Jose, CA) in Apr 2017
Interview
I did the interview through phones because of school reason, but the manager was really nice and helping throughout the time. They understood that I am a student. But mostly, they are looking for personalities. So stay positive and engaged throughout the process. It’s a great place to be especially as a beginner for this industry.
