I applied and then also sent a LinkedIn message to the position manager regarding my interest in the position. She responded and said my experience looked applicable to the position and that she'd reach out to HR. A day later I was contacted for a phone interview with the HR person. The phone interview went great and I was told to fill out an assessment before the next interview. I filled out the 1 hour assessment and sent it in. I have not heard from anyone since, even after multiple follow-ups. It is so rude to ghost a candidate, especially after you asked them to fill out an hour long assessment.
