      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cricut (South Jordan, UT) in Jun 2019

      Interview

I was very disappointed with the interview process. I had 2 sets of phone interviews within a week of submitting my resume (both which went well in my opinion.) I was told the next step was an in-person, on-site interview that was set for 2 1/2 hours. I'm still working, so it was tricky to make that work in the middle of a Monday. Especially considering, the 2 1/2 hours were spent meeting 3 different sets of people all which asked the same exact questions. I was told I would be contacted by the end of the day. I followed up 5 times after the interview looking for feedback or next steps. The only contact information I had was the HR representative's personal phone number. She was very responsive, but I felt it was very unprofessional and she didn't have any details. I had to text her just to find out they decided to freelance the position. I would recommend you have positions totally fleshed out and all your ducks in a line before you bring in applicants for serious interviews.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Cricut in Apr 2024

      Interview

I was initially very excited about Cricut because the people I spoke to were very nice and how they represented the company, sounded very nice as well. But now that I am out of the interview process I am genuinely so happy that it did not work, and here is why: My interview process took 2 FULL MONTHS, 7 interviews, 1 referral with a previous boss and 1 task at the last stage just to not even get an answer that I am not going to be offered the job without any constructive feedback or reason, even after I specifically asked for it. They only let me know, after I followed up a week after their own deadline which was already 1,5 week after the last interview. Aside from the useless waiting time, they only gave a standard feedback of "someone else was a better fit" (even after I asked for a more detailed feedback), after all the energy and time and patience I spent, which I genuinely think is extremely unprofessional. - The communication was always chaotic - After every step I usually had to reach out and ask for what the next steps were. The interview process was never clearly explained, (with how many steps and tasks, etc. ) although I asked for it multiple times. - Also the fact that they've put 3 jobs into one is a red flag in of itself. During the interview process, they were adamant about how much they are planning to grow this year and that there is a lot of budget planned for marketing. If that is the case, you need people with their own proper fields, who spend the budget strategically and not just give the same person 3 major roles, just because they are all have something to do with social media. The last red flag, that actually got me thinking that this might not be the company for me, is when I realised how their words with didn't line up with their actions during the whole interview process and that the interview process is an indicator for how the company is run. Then I also read some of the entries here, which seem to confirm my hunch. So I think, generally it worked out best for me.

      Interview

Seemed like a lot for an entry level position. You have to do several panel interviews, lots of repeat questions and some people aren’t very prepared. Interviewed with people I wouldn’t even work with.
