      Certified Personal Trainer Interview

      Apr 24, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Stockton, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Crunch Fitness (Stockton, CA)

      Interview

I had walked in before to apply and talked with the manager unfortunately i had already accept a position at profession fitness by the time they called me back 2 days later. after working or pro-fit for 4 month i was fed up with the company so i came by again to see if they still needed trainers. i first met with the assistant manager of fitness briefly then i interviewed with the manager. the interview didn't really feel like a typical interview but more of a two way conversation in which we both asked each other a lot of question, he got a feel for what i was about as a trainer and i got to get a feel for how the gym worked. i was offered a position on the spot and even a signing bonus for leaving pro fit. I've only been there a short time but i am so glad that i decided to go in and apply!

      Interview

The interview is basically them getting to know who you are and how well you will fit their company. They are very inclusive and I didn’t feel uncomfortable at any point during the interview. Experience isn’t as important as long as they feel like personality wise you are a good fit for that fitness club!
