I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Daiichi Sankyo
Interview
Long interview process with several telephone interviews and two F2F meetings. HR not very pro-active, Response time quite long. Interview questions standard, nothing unexpected. Finally, I got an offer which required subsequnt renegotiation. Final conditions OK and slightly above industry average, However, process too slow, time consuming and a bit ineffective.

Question 1
•How would you feel about working in an Environment that is sometimes quite chaotic lacking processes?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Daiichi Sankyo (Basking Ridge, NJ) in Oct 2024
Interview
The interview process was fairly quick and efficient, conducted entirely via virtual video conferences. I appreciated the frequent communication with the Talent Acquisition team. Since I had an internal referral, this may have eliminated an initial HR screen; my first interview following the online application was a 30-minute chat with the hiring manager. During this conversation, they asked me to summarize my experience and took the time to describe the role in detail. With the remaining minutes, they probed into my technical experience and provided transparent advice about the next steps.
The second interview was a panel discussion with my hiring manager and future peers, lasting 90 minutes. They shared five behavioral questions in advance, which was incredibly helpful and allowed me to advocate for myself effectively. After addressing the prepared questions, they asked related follow-up questions and provided time for my inquiries, making it a great discussion overall.
Shortly after, I was notified that I was a top candidate and just needed to speak with a few additional team members—two more 30-minute chats. I assume this was to confirm their choice or decide between me and another candidate. Thankfully, they chose me!
From the time I submitted my application to the final interview and offer, the entire process took only three weeks.

I applied online. I interviewed at Daiichi Sankyo (New York, NY) in May 2020
Interview
A lot of prep required. They give you all the questions, but that means you basically have to do the interview before the interview. This very time consuming, and then they don't get to all the questions during the interview.
