      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dave & Buster's in Feb 2016

      Interview

Applied online, received an email a couple days later asking to schedule an interview. Did just that, was told to ask for a manager at the front desk. Did an interview with the manager and the senior tech, then followed up the next day with another interview with the General Manager. Big tip: Refer people that come into the building as 'guests', not 'customers'.

      Question 1

Are you available weekends? (The number one question, in my opinion.)

At this point, the manager brought over the Senior Game Tech and he asked me some questions, like "It can be very busy, can you handle the crowds at peak time"?

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Dave & Buster's (Gainesville, FL) in Mar 2026

      Interview

At first it was nice I went through both parts applying for cashier or waitress. Even though I had told them repeatedly that I had applied for those and wasn't ready for a tech position. They ignored that in a way as if I wouldn't be hired unless I took that position and did. A month later I'm called to talk to senior techs to be told I wasn't talking enough with my coworkers they had felt I hated them cause I didn't say more then hi and went to work. I was told it was fine and nothing was wrong yet then was taken of the schedule with no warning until I finally called to be told that a guy felt disrespected because I did not know he was a manager. Even though everyone all wore the same uniform and I was not introduced to him. Infact the were so short on uniforms that my position the only one that doesn't match is gone so I'm wearing the same "manager shirt" as a waitress.

      Question 1

Why I had applied for the position.
