I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you. Other than that abberation, your description of our process sounds about right. Once we're confident that you have the skills needed to do the job the next step is to figure out if you'd fit into a small company culture. Large companies offer a lot of structure while small companies are very entrepreneurial.
I was surprised someone asked about golf because no one here really golfs. Ping Pong in the break room is our big activity, but not required :)
As for Addison, it's admittedly not the most attractive town, which is one of the reasons why we offer so many employee activites to make it more attractive. In additon to ping pong all day we have casual dress every day, bags and jarts tournaments, bowling, occasional free lunches, free coffee, a massage chair, birthday and thanksgiving gift cards, pumpkin carving contests and a lot more. Addison isn't Chicago but we do all we can to make the work experience like the experience at tech firms in Chicago. Thanks for your feedback.
