I applied online. I interviewed at Dire Wolf Digital in Aug 2017
Interview
After submitting my application, the first step was a phone interview, which lasted about half an hour. I was asked a number of design questions about a non-Dire Wolf game (in my case, Gwent)
The next step was a written design test that featured both card design and short-answer questions, relating to MTG, Hearthstone, Eternal, and The Elder Scrolls: Legends.

Interview
I met with two of the lead designers over Skype. The interview lasted about thirty minutes, and they were personable enough, but it seemed as though they had already made up their minds by the end of it. They clearly love what it is they do, but seemed to have little patience.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dire Wolf Digital in Mar 2017
Interview
The interviewers were polite and handled my questions well. The interview was conducted over Skype, and two designers from the company were present. Their questions were creative; even the "funny" questions, in retrospect, would tell them a lot about their applicants. The interview lasted 30 minutes, and by the end, I had a much clearer picture of what the company's corporate culture was like.
