The first phone interview was short and focused on former experience including leadership skills. The second interview was face to face and the owner was very friendly but would not zero in on salary expectations or benefits. She asked if I would be willing to work for 2 weeks at "team pay" and after the 2 weeks we would discuss salary. I did show up for the first day of work but before starting, I spoke with her about the salary expectation after the 2 weeks, since that would only be right. She would not give me a range and said we would postpone my training for one week until she could give me a range of salary. I never heard back from her and missed a couple of legit offers in the meantime.
