      Customer Success Specialist Interview

      Sep 9, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at EF (Education First) in Aug 2021

      Interview

The interview process was very long and thorough. Initially I had a phone screen from HR where they asked me a lot of questions about how I organize myself at work, how I prioritize things, etc. After that I got a first video interview, the first half of which was an actual interview with a manager and the second half was a passion pitch and a mock phone call simulation. The interview with the manager asked a lot of customer service situational questions. The mock phone call was pretty thorough with the "customer" asking a lot of questions. Afterwards feedback was given and we ran through the mock call again to implement that feedback. Then I had the final interview, which was an hour and a half (video) meeting with a manager and assistant manager. A lot of the questions were the same as with the first manager. With the assistant manager I had the opportunity to ask more detailed questions about the team/position, and they also asked about the mock customer service call in the previous interview. Overall it was a pretty straightforward process and was communicated well with me. All of the interviewers were friendly and knew how to guide the conversation well and make the questions flow smoothly. My only criticism is that it's such a long process, which can get mentally exhausting especially if you're not sure that it will pay off.
