I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at East West Bank
Interview
I applied online via LinkedIn and was contacted by a recruiter. I had a phone call scheduled that week with a designer and was told that it was the design manager in charge of the hiring process.
He went in depth during the call and it was more of a technical phone call than an initial phone screen. Phone call went well and the designer on the other end spoke highly of my work and my answers. He said that he’d pass the information on to the recruiter and I would definitely be hearing from them.
Fast forward a week and I had heard nothing. I follow up and the recruiter asks for my availability to schedule another phone call. I give them my availability. I wait a week and nothing. I follow up again and I’m completely ghosted.
Poor treatment of candidates and poor communication from the recruiter.
