I placed an application and received an e-mail from an HR rep requesting additional information regarding my undergraduate degree and graduation date. I'm not a law expert but requiring people to tell you when they graduated can insinuate age discrimination. I believe it's also illegal in some states. I never indicate graduation dates or my DOB but GPA and date of graduation is required on their application. I ignored the first email and then I received another email from an HR rep requesting that information and stating it was required for them to move me forward in the interview process. So, I gave it to them reluctantly. Couple of days later I received a rejection letter.
