Pros

Pay is solid for new grad lots of good young people

Cons

No flexibility on remote work 2 weeks PTO 45 hours was the bare minimum floor expectation boring stress in office collaboration but you barely do any cross team projects you are NOT an engineer

Pros

- Good Healthcare - Work mission feels important (healthcare, your code saves lives) - The campus is pretty cool, and Madison is a gorgeous city (especially during the summer)

Cons

- Depending on the team and your manager, WLB could be non-existent - Dated technology (MUMPS) and wacky developer tools (very dated software management tools that are developed in house) - If you don't fit the ideal Epic mold, then your life will be miserable as they try to get you to hate your life enough to leave the job. They don't layoff people -- they make you quit.
