Interview
Applied online. Was contacted for a phone interview soon after. Typical questions: tell me about yourself? What appeals to you about the job? Willingness to travel? Where do you see yourself in five years? Not stressful, brief phone interview. Moved on to the online assessment and personality test/simple algebra. The assessment (a proctored online exam) was long about 3 hours for me. It was not too hard, but I rushed through some parts and felt I would not pass (and I didn't). It had sections on verbal/logic reasoning and grammar, "on job/case study" type questions, a 2 minute speed test, a mathematical reasoning test. Relax and read carefully, the challenge is in the wording.
It all began with an introductory email, followed by a Zoom meeting on the company’s core beliefs, a comprehensive personality test, and finally, a lengthy standardized testing exam for assessment.
long assessment before initial interview is even scheduled. took almost five hours and was worst than my highschool standard testing. Not worth the time in less you absolutely really just want the job. otherwise -waste of time.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Epic in Mar 2017
Interview
first there was a pretty breif phone interview
then there was a very involved but not very difficult online test that took maybe 2 hours
in person interviews (4) with various team leaders and people
