I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Equinox
Interview
Invited to come in for an open call interview day with a regional sales manager and regional director. Had a phone screener with HR who provided feedback I would be a perfect fit. Coming out of another field, I was most interested in sales training Equinox would provide as a foundation. Found the interviewer distracted until her boss came in mid-interview. He then asked all of the same questions the manager had along with a few new ones. Clearly the decision maker, I found him to be very rude and condescending all while telling me I would be a good fit for the position. Overall questions were moderate and mainly situational (not easy/not hard/grilled on sales tactics). Wrote incredibly detailed thank you notes to both and then received a "thank you for submitting your resume but we have decided to go with another candidate" email from HR. Asked for specific feedback, reiterating I had met two team members and a form email did not make sense. She re-pasted the previous response with no actual explanation. HR rep seemed young and disconnected to the internal team and job function. Overall a unprofessional experience which I am ok with not working out.

Question 1
What is something challenging you have faced in your personal life and how did you deal with it?
The interview process was quick and painless. The Talent managers contacted me promptly and guided me through the initial interviews before directing me to the general manager for the formal in-person interview. Went well!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Equinox (Miami, FL) in Mar 2022
Interview
Phone interview with a recruiter based in another city. More of a formality to get to know the candidate and company fit. Did not offer too many details in this initial interview.
Phone interview was very fast, about 10min. You tell them about yourself and they give you information. Very basic, 2nd interview is through zoom also pretty quick. A bit more in depth, just sell yourself and know the company, have a passion for fitness and youll do fine.
