Interview
I had a phone interview with Equinox for a position as a personal trainer. The interviewer asked typical questions about my fitness background, certifications, and experience. They were friendly and focused on understanding my passion for fitness and helping others.
Manager Interview:
In the second round, I had an interview with a manager. The questions delved into my training philosophy, how I handle client challenges, and my approach to creating personalized fitness plans. The manager was knowledgeable and provided insights into Equinox's training culture. It was a positive conversation that gave me a deeper understanding of what they value in their trainers.
Practical Interview:
The practical interview was hands-on, allowing me to demonstrate my training skills. I worked with a mock client, showcasing my ability to assess their needs, create a tailored workout, and effectively communicate instructions. The practical interview emphasized the practical application of my knowledge and how I engage with clients. It was a valuable experience that gave me a sense of the work environment and expectations.
Overall, the interview process at Equinox was thorough but not overly challenging. The various stages provided a comprehensive view of the company's values and allowed me to showcase my skills effectively. The interviewers were professional and created a positive atmosphere, making me excited about the prospect of working with them

Interview
Two people talk to you and ask you questions they want to screen you to see if you are able to talk to people and ask them to do complementary sessions.
The interview process was thorough. It was nerve racking at first. Several questions were asked about my background. I met three times before I was asked to join the Equinox team.
There were two parts for my interview. First they did a phone interview first getting to know me and my skill set. Then an in person interview with a practical portion. That let them see what I was capable to do on the fly.
