So I applied to Erie construction and I got a phone call the next day. The Interviewer did a phone screen, and it seemed like he was reading from a script. Anyhow he told me he an interview appointment open for the next day. I arrived at their office and it seemed pretty run down, carpet torn, clock not working. During the interview it seemed like they were trying to sell me the job. The also asked a lot of illegal questions (if I was married was the one that really stuck out). Now the guy that was interviewing me is a salesman so keep that in mind. He was asking me why I wanted this job and what my motivation was to obtain this job. He then would use this information in the interview to "sell me" the job. The questions that they asked were not hard, they were just unexpected and really personal. Now the real kicker was when they asked when could I start. I responded by saying ASAP. He said that I would have to start tomorrow and basically quit my job that i currently have without giving notice. They then went on to explain that there are only two openings left and they have four interviews. Once again they were trying to sell me the job.
