Overall was a very strange and disappointing interview process. Read some other reviews and seems to be the theme. The hiring manager was extremely disengaged from the get-go, and even small talk felt like pulling teeth a bit. After the cold start they proceeded to ask very basic scripted questions in a non-engaging manner and I could tell they did not want to be there. Anything beyond surface-level questions they were unable to answer. I was more than qualified from a skills and experience perspective for the position but was told because I didn't come directly from Vacasa, Expedia, or Evolve, I would be at a disadvantage which I appreciated but made me feel like the interview was a waste of time and if those are their criteria could have been screened out initially. I was looking forward to actually meeting people on the team I was interviewing for to see it through, but unfortunately, the road stopped there.

Zoom interview. Great recruiter. They sourced me. Unimpressive hiring manager. Not focused, not energetic, and no structure to the interview. Not someone I would want to work for. The hiring manager lacked real estate knowledge and combined that with low level interview skills. Maybe other teams are better but this team will be a dud. I almost stopped the interview to quit wasting my time...
