The interview process was very lengthy and very startup ish. It was four hour long interviews. There was a recruiter call, manager screen(who I would report to), two folks from mid-market sales, one commercial sales manager, the direct manager interview, and then two SDR managers.
The process went smooth and it was great communication but in the end they said I didn't get it because "they wanted someone who manages their own team" Which I didn't understand because that's exactly what I do.
Then they tried to offer me an SDR role which kinda was a slap in my face.
Some advice, don't offer a person an entry-level sales role to someone whos been promoted and is in management.
It also seems like they like to promote from within seeing that the only two people that are managers were SDRs.
