I applied online and was contacted by the recruiting team. - The process began with an online screening that focused on my previous experience and current projects. - I was then invited to an onsite interview, which included a one-hour presentation followed by a Q&A session. This portion was primarily technical and went smoothly. - The onsite continued with five technical sessions with different team members. While the process was well-structured, several aspects of the experience raised concerns. Interviewers often focused on probing for weaknesses and attempting to challenge or dismantle demonstrated strengths, which created a noticeably negative and high-pressure environment. In several sessions, the team presented their own complex internal problems and expected the candidate to propose a comprehensive roadmap for solving them within 10–15 minutes — an unrealistic expectation that contributed further to the toxicity of the experience. Moreover, there appeared to be an expectation that a single candidate would possess the skills of several specialized roles, suggesting an environment with high demands and a potentially poor work-life balance. Although I was not extended an offer, I had already determined that this was not the kind of environment I would want to join for the next chapter of my career. On the business side, it also became evident that the company is still struggling to scale its technology.

Initial interview was rescheduled, but second interview started on time. Questions mainly followed the requirements and "nice to have" listed on the company website for the job description. Not much time was left for questions or organic conversation.
