French Connection Sale Assistant interview questions

After dropping a few resume all over the place, they called me back, offering some 2 hours trial period .. on a saturday afternoon because they were low on staff. Only a few question asked, then just gave me a badge on let me go on the floor. After two successful hours, the manager just said he had one good and one bad news : Good one : very good selling skills Bad one : "We have too many french people working here already, we can't have a mafia"

Initial Communications were fine I was called within hours of handing in my CV and interview and start date were arranged very quickly. The interview was great the manager was very nice and understanding. It was my first retail job so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. I enjoyed the interview and did not feel intimidated or interrogated.
