I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at GE (Stamford, CT) in May 2016
Interview
Started with a formal phone interview with questions primarily based on my background and work experience. They asked questions directly related to the role to test knowledge and my capabilities. In person interviews were very informal and met with a management member who described the role in detail and asked questions that pertained the the role. A employee who was working directly with the intern then interviewed and asked detailed questions on how I could benefit the company and what skill set I brought.

I did an accounting test and then was called for a 1:1 interview. The interview was ok, they asked a few accounting related questions and the reason for wanting to join the company
Friendly snd challenging. Was a great experience. Two interviews and they got back to me soon. Didn’t waste my time. Didn’t get an offer but valued the experience. 30 words is a lot to write about an interview but I hope this is enough.
