I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at GE (Southampton, England) in Mar 2015
Interview
Very friendly interview process - albeit spread over long waiting periods. Things move quickly after face to face interview. The interview process is collaborative, the aim is to assess your thought process and interest in the manufacturing environment, which is quite hands-on compared to a typical design office role (you will have your chance to experience this too). Managers are very friendly and even if you make some mistakes they try to lead you back by helping to point them out.
