Applied online for new store opening, got a call 1 week later to arrange an interview at a different gap branch which was further away from my house than the one I applied for. When I arrived I met with the manager, started my interview and she only asked me three straight forward questions. Called back 2 weeks later to find out I wasn’t offered the job because according to her I wasn’t capable of working for gap because it’s very fast paced but she didn’t even ask me customer related questions of any sort to make that assumption.
Group interview with other candidates with the store manager. Arrive at the store and wait for other candidates. Then interview happens in break room and it lasted roughly about 30-60minutes
It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
