      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Gap in Aug 2014

      Interview

The first round was a fairly straightfoward half hour phone interview. Not too many difficult questions. The second round was much more difficult. It required a presentation in which one had to concoct a brand to add to the Gap Inc. portfolio. I was content with the job I did, but I was later informed that the business aspects of the presentation were not strong enough. Overall, however, the experience was positive.

      Application

I interviewed at Gap (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

Made it through 2 rounds of interviews. First is more personal and 2nd is a project on creating a brand for GAP. Was told I had made it to final rounds, only to receive an email more than a month later that my application would actually not be moving forward. Rather unorganized and lengthy process.

      Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Gap (New York, NY)

      Interview

Resume drop on university career site, then assessment (math+culture), then phone interview with recruiter. The recruiter seemed very rushed and uninterested in what I had to say which threw me off and led to me delivering not as polished answers as I would have liked to. It left a bad impression on Gap.
