Interview
I interviewed for Banana Republic which is under the GAP. It was a group interview with about 8 to 9 other candidates. The interviewer asked us all questions like name some examples of customer service you have performed, name an example when you were criticized for something..and so on. Typical interview questions like, why do u want to work here? What can you bring to BR.
If you are confident and can answer the questions, you can make it. Speak out and ask questions, make yourself stand out from the group and you will be fine. And dress up from the interview, a few people had jeans on. BR had a dresscode if your hired, slacks/dress pants..etc.
Group interview with other candidates with the store manager. Arrive at the store and wait for other candidates. Then interview happens in break room and it lasted roughly about 30-60minutes
It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
