I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gap (Altamonte Springs, FL) in Aug 2015
Interview
A couple weeks after applying, I got a call to come in for a group interview. Arrived about 5 min early. Wore sort of casual white denim, striped top, and a nice blazer. It was supposed to be a group interview of 3 but there was only 2 of us. I personally thought the interview was a little long, it dragged for a little over an hour. Typical questions, lots of customer service scenarios. The other girl and I took turns answering the same question. Stumbled through some questions but made up with others. The manager was pretty chill overall, he seemed like he wanted to hire us from the start. At the end he said the background check would take about 24 hours and he would call us to follow up. As we were leaving the interview, the 3rd person showed up late and the manager turned them away. The next day he called with the job offer. I start next week training and I'm excited! The other girl that interviewed with me got the position as well.

Question 1
Describe a time you had to deal with a difficult coworker when working on a project. How did you handle it?
Group interview with other candidates with the store manager. Arrive at the store and wait for other candidates. Then interview happens in break room and it lasted roughly about 30-60minutes
It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
