I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Golden Valley, MN) in Oct 2019
Interview
I applied for the position and heard back 2 weeks later. From there we coordinated a time when we could set up a phone interview. After successfully completing the phone interview I was contacted a few days later for an in person interview.
I was emailed an overview of what the interview process was going to look like, and then I took an online assessment/personality test. We then set a date for the in person interview. the whole interview process took around 2.5 hours. I spoke with 5 different employees from different parts of the company, and was even given a small tour of the campus in a small planned coffee break.
The questions where standard S.T.A.R. questions you would expect. I was very grateful of the email I got before the interview detailing what the process was going to look like. It helped me prepare so I wasn't caught off guard by anything, and could give my best responses.
Overall I had a very engaging time with the company and would say its one of the best interview experiences I've had.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2019
Interview
I applied online, then about a day later I received an email for a phone screening. About two weeks after the phone screening I was invited on campus to the WHQ in Minneapolis in early October. Two days later I was extended an interview.
