I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at General Mills (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
1) Attended their company info session and went to their table at the career fair
2) Invited to a special session after the fair for people they were seriously considering for BMA/internships
3 1st round interview conducted with head recruiter. Very easy, was only asked 1-2 questions (where do you want to relocate/why do you like us?), and then for the remaining period, just talked casually
3) 2nd round interview the next day, talked to current employee. Only asked 3-4 behavioral questions. Submitted a personality, behavioral, and math assessment later that day (math test is easy but asks you to sort and organize 5+ elements per problem with 1 minute/problem, kind of nervewrecking to finish on time)
I was informed that I would be notified early the following week about final round interviews. I never heard back until this past Wednesday with a rejection email. My second round interview had been 2 weeks before.

Question 1
Behavioral questions like what are three things your courses have taught you that help with this position; why are you the best fit; etc, etc.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2025
Interview
- 2 on 1 for the first interview
1 of them was asking questions and 1 of them was taking notes. Felt pretty intense, they never got back to me and said I would hear back after a week. I then reached out and they responded immediately saying I did not get the job.
Applied online and then interviewed over a zoom call. Straightforward and easy. Two rounds. Some online personality questions as well. Overall a good experience. Different interview lets each round both current employees.
