Interview was a 3 step process. There was an initial call from a recruiter, second call with hiring manager, and then a panel interview with 3 different managers at the company. I thought it went well until the last 30 minutes of the panel interview. It became clear to me that I was probably just a quota filler. First, the recruiter was supposed to be on the call but flaked. Second, the itinerary of the interview was changed at the end and I met the plants HR person even tho he wasn’t on the schedule. The questions they asked were basic STAR format. There was no technical questions or tests. No pop quizzes. I felt I did well, I held my own and it seemed like they respected me. I got an email about 6 days later saying they were moving on with someone else.
