Interview
I submitted my resume online and met with General Mills at the business career fair on campus. Two weeks later I found out that I got a first round interview. The day before the interview was an info session and happy hour to get to know the recruiters. I really enjoyed this and became more comfortable around them. The first round interview was a 30 minute, one-on-one interview on campus and challenged me in several ways. Not only did the interviewer ask behavioral questions, but also analytical questions. That night I received a phone call that I made it to second round interviews. I had an hour and a half second round interview which was comprised of 30 minutes of behavioral based questions with the director of sales and an hour role play of a sales case study. I received an offer via phone call the following week. Altogether I really enjoyed the recruiting process with General Mills. It challenged me and gave me the opportunity to learn more about the culture of the company.

Interview
- 2 on 1 for the first interview
1 of them was asking questions and 1 of them was taking notes. Felt pretty intense, they never got back to me and said I would hear back after a week. I then reached out and they responded immediately saying I did not get the job.
Applied online and then interviewed over a zoom call. Straightforward and easy. Two rounds. Some online personality questions as well. Overall a good experience. Different interview lets each round both current employees.
