I applied online. I interviewed at Genpact (Bengaluru) in May 2021
Interview
There was a cal received to discuss current CTC and expectations. Then I had my first round it was a technical round, they asked me several questions about my current role and questions related to the job description that I applied for. 2 Nd round was a managerial round. The process was similar to the 1 st round but with additional questions. After a 3 days I received an email from HR to accept the JD and provide all the documents including pay slips. After a week I received a call from HR for salary discussion. The whole process took almost a month's time and finally they come back offer the same salary that we get in our current company. It was thee worst interview experience. I didn't expect for such a reputed company to behave this way. If they couldn't afford to pay more they should have rejected in the first place. They waste your previous time and finally offer less or same salary. I don't understand would a sensible person even accept such an offer?
They waste the time of the candidate give them false expectations by asking all the documents in advance and then offer nothing. Again there are additional expenses like cab charges which will be deducted from salary if opted.
