Interview
The interview process lasted on and off for an entire year. I had a internal recommendation from a former professor of mine that had worked there. In total, I was interviewed for the position three times. With every interview, more people would attend and ask me questions. At the final interview, I spoke to six people.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gensler (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2015
Interview
I had two interviews, one initial and a follow up. They were both great, first with studio heads, and then with a Design Director and Project manager- both who I know work with closely. They were very friendly, and allowed me plenty of time to ask my own questions and interview them about the firm. Thy made me an offer at the end of my second interview, which I respectfully declined in order to receive more compensation to my base pay. They, in return, came back with a healthy sign on bonus which I then accepted.
