I had a frustrating experience with the recruiting process at Gladly. Initially, reached out to schedule an interview, but there was a significant delay in response. Once I finally had a screening scheduled, I was told we needed to move quickly as others were further along, despite the week-long delay from their end. I had an interview right away with no time to prepare.
Although they seemed positive about my interview, I received no follow-up from the team despite multiple attempts to check in given the rush. After weeks of silence, I received a new invitation to discuss the position, which seemed to be a mistake as I had already interviewed. When I contacted, they acknowledged the error but criticized my preparedness, which was challenging given the short notice. Overall, the process felt unprofessional and disorganized and is not a place I would want to pursue if that is how things are in the interviewing phase.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gladly in Jan 2019
Interview
Initial phone interviews then onsite interviews. Terrible interviewers in person. Not personable at all and shared nothing about the company culture. Not a good culture or team environment here based on how they interview and the focus of the interview.
