During my 6th semester, GlobalLogic, a subsidiary of Hitachi, conducted recruitment for the Software Engineer Trainee role.
st Round: Online Exam The process started with an online exam that included aptitude, logical reasoning, C, OOPs, and four coding questions (three needed for qualification). Despite time constraints, I successfully submitted three coding solutions and moved on to the next round.
nd Round: Technical Interview With limited prep time, I brushed up on DBMS, OOPs, OS, and Java. The interview involved OOPs concepts, swapping two numbers without a third variable, and checking a palindrome string. I struggled with optimizing the palindrome solution but moved forward nonetheless.
rd Round: Managerial Interview The next round focused on my resume, discussing projects and internships. Unlike some peers who received coding tasks, my round concentrated on resume-based questions.
th Round: HR Interview The final round involved common HR questions like "Why GlobalLogic?" and relocation flexibility. I ensured thoughtful responses to align with the company’s culture.
