Was recruited by outside HR firm. Went onto Goodyear's website and applied. About a month later rec'd a call from a Goodyear HR rep, preliminary questions. Set up 2nd phone interview with General Manager for Retail Stores. Had a good interview with him. Set up a face-to-face interview with current District Manager. Had a 2 hour interview with him. Received 'thanks but no thanks' form letter from Goodyear. Contacted DM whom I interviewed with and asked for feedback. Stated I didn't have enough experience in a specific area and that we had talked at length about it during our F2F...NO WE DIDN'T! He spoke of his difficulties when he came into the position from a corporate position and basically projected his difficulties onto me and communicated that I would have problems....My career has been in retail and wholesale automotive. I understand what needs to be done. FRUSTRATED!!! Can not go to the GM because they are good friends
