This process began with an application online, followed by an email from HR saying that I made it past the first stage and requesting that I take a timed exam and personality test. The exam consisted of moderate to advanced English language questions, easy to moderate arithmetic word problems, and typical IQ shape and pattern recognition questions. Do NOT use a calculator for this portion. It’s partially an honesty/integrity test as well. After this exam, I got a follow up email to schedule a phone interview a few days later. These are standard interview questions so be prepared. After the phone interview I was told that I needed to take the exam again, live on Skype. I declined and told them that I’d rather come to them in person, and so they offered to let me take the exam in their offices. The questions were different, but again, no calculator is to be used here so brush up on your mental math skills. After the second exam I received a follow up phone call to schedule an in-person interview with the head of the team/department. This in-person interview consisted of mostly standard questions. They were very personable, and eventually we continued with standard interview HR questions. This was followed up by another phone call to inform me of compensation, and to extend a formal offer. After some papers are signed, they schedule a drug-testing at a local clinic, and then you’re in. All new hires for all positions go through an intense 5 day orientation followed by another exam and sessions with the CEO and the Executive team. For this particular role of claims analyst, we were shipped out of state to a “Boot Camp” for 2 weeks for training, and then you begin your full training with the rest of your team.

I had my interview on a Thursday and received a phone call the following Wednesday with an offer. It was a lengthy process but definitely worth it. Everyone was very friendly. All of the employees were casually dressed and the atmosphere was very laid back.
