A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn and sent me the job description. He said that if I want to proceed, please complete an application and he would follow up with a conversation. Although there was no conversation, he sent me links to complete a personality assessment along with a Cognitive Capabilities assessment, which involved preparation time and then the time to actually take the assessments, which was far less than the prep time. I typically don't do very well on timed cognitive tests where you have 15 seconds to accurately answer each question. Regardless, I took the assessments and never heard back from the recruiter, so overall I felt that it was pretty unprofessional, discourteous and downright rude.

I was invited for an initial screening interview over the phone, and was then asked to complete multiple assessments to test my personality traits and "cognitive abilities." They do not trust potential candidates to complete these exams on their own, and require you to schedule the tests through a proctor service. It took me hours to take the exam the first time, as the system was having issues. After the initial exam, the HR specialist asked me to take it AGAIN (without giving me a reason why). I took the time to do this, and did not hear back from the company for weeks, in the meantime I had accepted another offer. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
