Was to come in to the Los Angeles terminal. Two other applicants were also there. We were given about 7 sheets of paper that explained the bud driver job, pay and training. Signed docs. Once I accepted the conditions I signed a release for so they could perform a back round check and was given to a voucher to go get my dot physical and drug test and once complete to return in couple of hours with the dot documents. ( I need to add that I already have my class a cdl permit with all the endorsements, hazmat, triple doubles, tanker and passenger. Also they want you to your h6) Now I must share that I told them I have a felony being 5 years ago and that I have already filed prop 47 in court that would lower my felony to a misdemeanor. I was told that the new union agreement states that I can not hire anyone with a felony less than 10 y/o but he was willing to go ahead and forward my app to Dallas Corp office and it would be up to them. He told me then that he would be surprised if the approved it. That being said, he add that he was willing to still go ahead and pay for my dot med and drug test so I could get my permit completed and when the court clears my felony to let him know and he will re submit my app. Frankly I could ask for a better interview and they or he still went out of his way to help me out. This usually is unheard of for a corporate company to do.
one on one interview ,office was in a sketchy neighborhood not what i expected from a huge company like greyhound. interviewer was pleasant ,interview was very relaxed. the real test will be when i start working . but initial meeting was ok.
I applied online. I interviewed at Greyhound (Fresno, CA) in Nov 2022
Interview
After you submit an application, a recruiter will call you to inform you of times when group interviews are taking place at a Greyhound location. They will ask you to bring your DMV printout (get an official one, not online) and Social Sec. card. The interview is more of a Q&A about the good and not so good of being a driver. My interview had 5 people and a recruiter who had been with the company for 33 years. She was VERY informative and honest about the challenges of the job- most reviews you read about the difficult lifestyle are true, and it is NOT for everyone. At the end of the interview, she was willing to move everyone forward or allow us time to go home and discuss the driver lifestyle with our families. She asked us to call her cell directly with our decision to move forward or not. VERY positive, honest experience.

Question 1
Are you willing to make the lifestyle change that cokes with being a bus driver?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Greyhound (El Paso, TX) in Sep 2018
Interview
Applied through indeed, got an email stating when I would like an interview. I arrived 15 mins early but I was told management was going to be late for about 20 mins. Then I decided to have a look around and already see 2 people whom I assume are homeless sleeping on sets/floor. Interviewer was reading off a packet of questions ( about 15), barely giving eye contact or little feedback. I was asked to sign for a background and drug check from Dallas that should take 3 days. At this point I pretty sure they would hire ANYONE since I had an accident 3 years ago.
