The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Groupon (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2011
Interview
Phone interview, then trip to the office for the face to face. Interviewed by a manager in the sales department and a business analyst guy. Sales interview was fun, interviewer was nice. The business analyst asked a few consulting style market sizing questions which weren't particularly easy, but not too bad.

I applied online. I interviewed at Groupon in Jan 2026
Interview
Smooth, structured, fast responses, good overviews of the role and expectations from interviewers. Exposure to prominent figures in the company. Refreshing that interviews weren’t too structured, and conversations flowed naturally. Something that is rare for such established companies.
Fun to learn more about the company. Not sure if it was a good fit, but met lots of cool people along the way! Decided to pursue other things. Great that it was started in Chicago.
I applied through college or university. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Groupon (Dublin, Dublin) in Nov 2016
Interview
Applied through on campus meeting. One hour interview on site in Dublin. Very nice people, didn't get the offer unfortunately. Brush up on your fundamentals and data structures/algorithms because they will ask you about them
