I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Groupon (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2014
Interview
Multi round score based. The entire interview process was very fast. The interview questions were more personality, skill and serious based, there were no skills test personality tests. They do not require background or drug tests. You will be interviewed by multiple people and will be given a score that will be combined at the end. Candidates with the highest scores will receive an offer. My interview was very easy as my was an internal referral. The whole process went very quick (within weeks). When they have an opening they want it filled as soon as possible. Once an offer is made you have only 72hours to accept or counter. Salary is negotiable.

Interview
I have applied for the fashion buyer position and they contacted me after one week. I had an interview with HR (30 minutes call) and then the second interview with the category manager, which took about 110 minutes, being said that my profile matches the role very well. then I HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING FROM THEM, NEVER. I tried to keep the contacts writing e-mails, but no response at all. Totally unprofessional!!!

The interview process was great from the beginning: HR getting in touch with me, providing feedback of every interview and giving all the information about every part of the process. The interviews were very good, going by the Resume to talk about previous experience and discussing different challenges that the position has. A very friendly environment.
